About us and how we started
Everyone at Little Acorns dedicates their combined knowledge and skills to the recruitment, training and support of foster carers and through this, achieve long term, stable placements for children in care.
Little Acorns Fostering was officially registered with Ofsted on 6th February 2013 and rated “Good” in November 2013. We are a family run business with many years experience in Social Work, Residential Care, Judicial and Fostering Services. We strive to offer best in class services to children who enter the care system and those fostering families who are committed to nurturing and caring for some of our most damaged children. Our ethos is centred on reflective practice and developing the service with the needs of the child at the heart.
Our commitment and passion to families who are prepared to devote their time and efforts to such an emotional, yet rewarding task is second to none and at the forefront of our journey together. We want to remain a small ‘family’ like company to avoid dilution of the service and therefore able to achieve a personal touch to the carers and children alike.
